It's Monday and I'm still pregnant!

One would think that you would just believe you're pregnant after 3 tests in one morning. I've test everyday, except for today. I just had to. I've been so worried I would wake up and this dream would be over.

Here are my symptoms leading up to my BFP:

  • cramping, felt like my regular cramps
  • I had a burning sensation in my breast two or three times
  • sometimes I felt "off". Can't describe it. It was a mix between dizziness and fatigue.
  • very tired.
  • frequent urination
I still have the same symptoms. I eat a lot already, even though I'm not craving anything in particular. I always want a diet Sprite, but other than that... Oh, I'd like a cigarette! HA. I haven't touched one since Thursday, the day before my BFP. Of course, I won't be touching one ever again. I'd like to think that once I have the baby, I won't pick it up again. I see so many women who do that, though.

We told my stepmother yesterday. I just gave her a bib that said, "I love my grandma". She babysits two 9 month old babies, so I said, " Oh, I picked this up for your babies." She said well, I'd have to have it changed to Ma Ma, since that's what they call me. I said well, that's true. Then she said she didn't have any girls (the bib was pink). She caught on and I showed her a pic of the digital test. She freaked out and now she's all excited.

We've told a handful of important people. I'm going to hear from my ob/gyn today, so hopefully I'll be able to update about my first appt!

As most of you know, I am being very cautious because I have to uterus and two cervices. I had another vaginal canal, but I had a wonderful surgeon who closed that up when I was 16. There was not another opening, thank God.

2 years ago, I was having some pain in my lower back and my ob sent me to a fertility specialist. The same one who helped ILuvJAV with her pregnancy! He's a fabulous doctor. He was seeing me for pain management, as we were not TTC at the time. My doctor's assumptions about the pain were totally wrong, but I'm glad I went to see him anyway. He put a catheter in each uterus to see if they were both open, which they were. Painful, but good to know. He said I had a 65% chance of getting pg, and most women have 75%+. So, just being pg is amazing.

He urged me to TTC as soon as possible, because he said it could take a while. He said once I ever got pg, I would need to go to MUSC Prenatal Wellness to see a doctor for high-risk pregnancies.

I'm waiting on his office and my ob/gyn to call back and let me know who give me the referral first and send me to their office. My ob/gyn wants to do my first visit, then send me to the prenatal wellness center. I'd prefer to go straight to the other place, but we'll see.

I'll update once I hear more!
