Hello! DH and I have been TTC for 8 months now, but we are trying to work around his medication that decreases his sex drive. He's getting help from his doctor with the meds and continues to seek therapy. I'm just going to put that out there, because it is a real issue for us. I've only had my hopes up, maybe 3 out of 8 cycles, because our timing isn't really that great.
T is 32 and I'm 24. He's a homebody and I'm the complete opposite. May 6th is our 3rd anniversary and we've been together for almost 5 years. We met through friends, but still didn't really know each other. I saw him at the gas station one day and said hello. Everyone was always saying how great he was and how nice, so I wanted to know more. I gave him my phone number and I was surprised to see that he called twice the next day. He invited me to a wedding. I said yes, even though I didn't know the bride/groom. The wedding was in 2 hours AND he was in the wedding. Funny how he forgot to mention any of that. I had a great time though, and I knew a lot of people there.
After the wedding, we were inseparable and we've been together ever since. He's a wonderful husband and I'm lucky to have someone who is so good to me.
I'm a Redken Certified Hair Colorist and I'm very passionate about my career. I'm a bit of a work-a-holic, but I love every minute of it. I don't know many people who can say that about their jobs, so I can't complain.
DH was building the house when we met. He lived in an apartment then and when he moved out, I moved in the apartment. We didn't live together before we were married, but I think I "lived" here 5 days a week.
We have two dogs, both boxers. Gabby is 13 and I've had her since I was 12! She's an amazing dog and we have spoiled her completely. We just got Deuce, our 13 week old puppy. He's really a pain in the ass, but he's hard to resist. This puppy stresses me out, but he's just being a puppy. We've only had him for 2 weeks and I just hope things start getting better.
I just started making jewelry, so I'm going to try to post some pictures soon.
Thanks for reading my blog and I'll be updating often!
